Principal Airfield Engineer - 4029

RS&H is seeking a talented Principal Airfield Engineer / Project Manager for our Denver, CO office!

 

As a Senior Civil Airfield Engineer, activities include serving as a Senior Project Manager or Project Director on large, complex multidiscipline projects and typically directs/mentors discipline associates and Project Managers in professional, technical, and operational best practices.

You will independently direct the development and evaluation of engineering reports and plan and specification criteria for a variety of projects, as well as supervises engineering design development, design detailing, code analysis, construction document production, construction administration, coordination with project team, client communication, proposal coordination, marketing, presentations, and management of other discipline-related activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering or other professionally recognized equivalent disciplines from an accredited ABET university
  • 15+ years of experience with 10+ years in Civil design of airport-related facilities at medium and/or large hub airports
  • Colorado PE registration or ability to obtain within 6 months of starting
  • Previous project management and team leader experience is preferred
  • Client Management experience and capabilities
  • Ability to travel across the region to existing/potential Airport Clients
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required for use in completing an assignment
