CADD TECHNICIAN II - SCHAUMBURG, IL - 5995
St Charles, ILRS&H is currently seeking a CADD Technician I in our Transportation practice.
The Design and Technical Integration Engineering Specialist is someone who thrives in the industry’s ever-changing technical environment through the adoption of new technologies and constant investment in their knowledge and skills. This role will initially support the Illinois Department of Transportation’s CAD Unit at their offices in Schaumburg, IL and transition to working alongside the RS&H team in St. Charles, IL.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's degree from an accredited program or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Preferred experience with Bentley products including Microstation and OpenRoads
- IDOT experience preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of quality CADD deliverables for multiple projects with a keen awareness of project schedules and deadlines
- Mentor other engineers and technical associates in Microstation and OpenRoads
- Coordination with multi-disciplinary teams to prepare civil construction documents under the direction of more senior designers and engineers.
