RS&H is currently seeking a Highway Engineer III for our Transportation Practice in Orlando, FL!

RS&H is currently seeking a Highway Engineer III in our Orlando, FL office. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent technical knowledge of roadway design fundamentals. The candidate will be knowledgeable on all aspects of roadway plans production and be able to act independently regarding technical matters pertaining to roadway design. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent experience
• Minimum of ten years relevant experience
• Florida PE licensure or the ability to obtain their Florida PE within 6 months of hire
• Proficient in production software and construction document production
• Strong oral and written communication skills 
• Ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, and other key stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

• FDOT design experience including major reconstruction on limited access facilities, rural/urban arterials, and bicycle/pedestrian facilities
• Municipal/Local Government design experience within the State of Florida
• Experience in Temporary Traffic Control Design
• FDOT Temporary Traffic Control Certified
